Educational Classes

U.S. Laboratories clients are encouraged to participate in our educational programs. Access to these programs is included for clients who have chosen the Consultant Support Plan for their infection control needs. These programs are also available to all of our clients for a nominal charge. Please note that surveillance classes are held approximately twice per quarter at the main laboratory in Brockton. On-site educational programs are held as demand and scheduling allows.

Surveillance Educational Class - Part I
(CEs Available)
The U.S. Laboratories clinical team will provide your facility's infection control nurse with an introductory surveillance educational program. This program will enable your practitioner to organize and implement an effective surveillance system to track resident infections and will help your staff comply with all federal and state regulations.
Program length: 3 hours.

Surveillance Education Class - Part II
Expanded topics in infection control are presented, including trends and analysis of data, outbreak investigation and regulatory compliance.
Program length: 3 hours. Prerequisite: Surveillance Educational Class - Part I.
